Diplomate, American Board of Podiatric Surgery  •  Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive  •  Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery

Dr. Daniel Huff is a native of Cache Valley, and built The Foot & Ankle Center of Providence in order to provide podiatric care for the community he loves.  Dr. Huff graduated with honors from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, and received the “Pierce B. Nelson Award” as the student who most closely exemplifies honesty and dedication to podiatric medicine.  He spent countless hours outside of clinical rotations developing an education in sports medicine and orthotic therapy. He has an excellent understanding of biomechanics, being trained out of the office where the Root functional orthosis was developed.

Dr. Huff completed a three year surgical residency at the University of Utah, and served as a Chief Resident his final year. During his training he was recognized nationally for his research in ankle trauma. After completing residency, Dr. Huff served as an attending physician for the podiatry residents in Salt Lake City; responsible for training accurate diagnosis, teaching surgical techniques, and ensuring the best surgical outcome.

Dr. Huff is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, and can treat a wide range of podiatric problems: from painful bunions, hammertoes, and neuromas, to foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction; including joint fusions, ankle fractures, tendon repair, and nerve decompression. He is well-versed in providing care to the rising diabetic population, including non-surgical and surgical wound care.

Spending time with his family is what Dr. Huff enjoys most. He also enjoys exercise, basketball, great movies, good food, and cooking.

Dr. Andrew Burgon was born and raised in the mountains of Northern Utah and has always called Cache Valley his home.  After graduating from USU, Dr. Burgon attended Kent State University, College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio, and completed his three-year surgical residency in beautiful Evansville, Indiana.  A Level-II Trauma Center, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and two other area hospitals became a second home for Dr. Burgon as he covered trauma call and emergency consults for the podiatry service.  There he trained with the region's best podiatric and orthopedic surgeons in a spectrum of care from trauma reconstructive surgery to diabetic limb salvage.  Dr. Burgon performs basic foot and ankle surgery like bunion and hammertoe correction, as well as reconstructive foot and ankle procedures for problems like traumatic arthritis or flat foot deformities.

Dr. Burgon is extensively trained in conservative and non-surgical care as well, having worked with a broad range of patients; from collegiate athletes to children and from senior citizens to those with disabilities.  Dr. Burgon loves clinic, eagerly working with patients to understand their goals and helping them return to activity and be pain-free as quickly as possible.

Dr. Burgon is excited to return to Cache Valley to help the people he knows best, performing evidence-based conservative and surgical foot & ankle care.  Any time out of the office you’ll find him with his wife and three boys likely in the mountains skiing, hiking, biking, or just plain enjoying the outdoors!
