Dr. Daniel Huff is a native of Cache Valley, and built The Foot & Ankle Center of Cache Valley in order to provide podiatric care for the community he loves. Dr. Huff graduated with honors from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, and received the “Pierce B. Nelson Award” as the student who most closely exemplifies honesty and dedication to podiatric medicine. He spent countless hours outside of clinical rotations developing an education in sports medicine and orthotic therapy. He has an excellent understanding of biomechanics, being trained out of the office where the Root functional orthosis was developed.
Dr. Huff completed a three year surgical residency at the University of Utah, and served as a Chief Resident his final year. During his training he was recognized nationally for his research in ankle trauma. After completing residency, Dr. Huff served as an attending physician for the podiatry residents in Salt Lake City; responsible for training accurate diagnosis, teaching surgical techniques, and ensuring the best surgical outcome.
Dr. Huff is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, and can treat a wide range of podiatric problems: from painful bunions, hammertoes, and neuromas, to foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction; including joint fusions, ankle fractures, tendon repair, and nerve decompression. He is well-versed in providing care to the rising diabetic population, including non-surgical and surgical wound care.
Spending time with his family is what Dr. Huff enjoys most. He also enjoys exercise, basketball, great movies, good food, and cooking.
