Dr. Thomas is a board certified foot and ankle physician and surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from BYU Idaho and continued on to medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa.
Dr. Thomas spent his podiatric medicine and surgical residency in the Utah Valley area training with a broad spectrum of physicians from Ogden to Provo, and spent considerable time in the VA Hospital. Dr. Thomas then worked as the sole podiatrist at a family clinic from 2016 until 2023 when he joined the physician team at The Foot and Ankle Center of Cache Valley.
Working in a family practice for many years had Dr. Thomas caring for patients from infancy to older adulthood, giving him a wealth of experience that he utilizes daily as he serves our broad spectrum of patients at The Foot and Ankle Center. Dr. Thomas states that he has always known he would become a physician, and that podiatry intrigued him with its scope of care ranging from ingrown toenail removal to orthotic therapy to foot reconstruction. He loves hearing his patients’ stories and building relationships with them as he helps them overcome their unique issues, getting them back on their feet and back to doing what they love.
Originally from southeast Idaho, Dr. Thomas is happy to be in Cache Valley where he loves to spend time outdoors hiking, camping, and fishing with his wife and six children.
