Tia Peterson is a licensed nurse practitioner focusing on wound care at The Foot and Ankle Center. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Oklahoma and graduate degree from BYU and has enjoyed a broad nursing career, with experience in urgent care, medical-surgical nursing, and dermatologic surgery.
The Foot and Ankle Center’s goal is always to provide the highest level and most comprehensive care to our patients, and adding Tia’s specialized care to our wound care protocol will allow patients to receive continuous expert care in the comfort and convenience of their own homes.
Tia loves being a nurse practitioner and being a direct part of her patients’ healing. She and her husband are raising two children in the valley and enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and baking.
Coupled with regular clinic visits with our podiatrists, Tia’s services in the home setting will provide our patients with the most innovative and comprehensive wound care available in Cache Valley.
Tia will be making home visits to patients receiving regular wound care, and providing services and treatments such as:
• Wound debridements
• Dressing changes
• Tissue grafts
• Stimulating ultrasound wound therapy
• Leg wraps to assist with swelling
